Photo-tour

A well-known photographer's introduction to Paris
PIcture-taking stop chosen by Claude Abron, photographer of Paris

Visiting Singapore showed Claude Abron, photographer specializing in Paris, that choosing the best sites to photograph or the best angles for shots was impossible when visits were short.

That led him to create a tour of Paris for foreign colleagues, which he adapts to particular requests.

It works for all visitors.

  • Claude's circuit follows the sunlight, with stops for picture-taking (tips if wanted)

Notre Dame and bookstalls
Skyscrapers just outside the city

By car, mini-bus or motor-coach

Montparnasse Tower (for the view from the 55th floor), Musée d'Orsay, Invalides, Pont Mirabeau, Museum of Primal Arts, Trocadéro, Champs Elysées, La Défense, Avenue Foch, Parc Monceau, Sacré Coeur, La Villette, Place de la République, Place des Victoires, Beaubourg, Hôtel de Ville, Le Marais, La Bastille, Ministry of Finances, Institute of the Arab World, National Library, Notre Dame, Panthéon, Sorbonne, Louvre, Musée d'Orsay, Concorde, Place Vendôme, Opéra, Palais-Royal...

  • As a photographer who specializes in Paris, he includes many sites that are little-known

Royal entry-site (the Porte Saint-Denis)
Bridge near La Bastille (the "'Arsenal")

  • Detours depend on travelers' interets

Royal architecture
Inspiration from the past : fake ruins (18th century)
Protecting the environment
Turning walls into art galleries

  •   Lunch – a bistro, or a "déjeuner sur l'herbe"

If weather permits, we choose farm products in an open-air market, to savour in a one of the city's lovely parks (in winter, we recommend a cozy bistro)
