Africans have greatly contributed to modern France, as intellectuals, laborers and, tragically, as soldiers.

 

Yet the estimated 1 600 000 French-Africans remain almost invisible. Here is a start to discovery...

• African musicians' showcase.  Musicians and media connect in a Cameroonian record-store, a landmark for Africans in France. Europeans are welcome, but rarely know that it exists. There is no cost, but you may want to buy a record. Most Saturdays, 8-10 pm. For more information, please aask us.
