PEF is like a garden, because its members are like flowers that have been chosen: This page gives you ideas for creating your own bouquet.
Notice that fees go mainly to the "flowers"... |
• To guide or specialist: half-day 195€, full day 345€ • To driver: from 220€ half-day, 400€ full day (cost varies with car size) • PEF: Please add 15%
These fees are the minimum that the Association of guides, lecturers and interpreters recommends. They are at least 50% less than agencies'.
Time-lengths are officially four or eight hours, but the guide is "your man" for as long as the mission lasts.

•Paris after dark: The two tours just mentioned, with their dramatic lighting and the special atmosphere of night. 690€, a beer at stops included.

Europe's capital of jazz: A trumpeteer proposes choices among the forty-odd possibilities that Europe's capital of jazz hosts each night. He brings his horn and may jam with the musicians, most of whom are friends. He can take three visitors in his car. 280€ most entry costs and a beer included. |
•Open house, Wednesdays and Sundays, 19:30-22:30 : An American opens her home to travelers and English-speaking Parisians. Evenings include a talk on a subject of interest plus networking, and on Sundays, a home-cooked supper: 15€ Wed., 20€ Sun.

• Montmartre Sunday night: A mistress of ceremonies of interest, neighbors who come to sing, a remarkable young pianist ("X") who despite two CDs and media attention, stays modestly in the background... Montmartre remains a village, but outsiders rarely know how tap into it. This is a beginning - the resident-oriented evenings are so authentic that they cease during the holidays. Excellent café dinner, about 25€, or drink, 4€.
