Strong points
Especially, years of exploring hidden paths to discover a culture that is usually inaccessible to outsiders
- Exploring the menu shows original proposals for the most commonly requested subjects - plus many that are new. What don’t we do? Sports, finance and politics.
- We add the extra mile. Even the classic aspect of our D-Day tour, for example, shows that epic in a way that is thought-provoking. As well, we get a rare glimpse of the war’s reality by viewing some of conflict’s few remaining ruins, which are on private land and unknown to the general public, and then by hearing witness accounts and discovering records of an army on the verge of defeat.
All our proposals are as unique. If we don't list a well-known activity it's that we don't yet have an original take on it.
- We try to make sense. For example, instead of dismissing the women who counted for Louis XIV, we explain why royal mistresses reinforced monarchy and tell stories that show how. We avoid "So what?" information.
We are received in major galleries, by collectors and by artists in their studios, or in chosen stores or workshops, to see first-hand why the city throbs as a major center of creativity.
- Our guides and hosts are often specialists of a high level, who collaborate exclusively with us as a way to share passions and values.
- Our events allow visitors to meet "real people", as distinct from tourism professionals alone.
We take great care in selecting venues because they set the mood for events. We then integrate other elements (performance, cuisine, décor...) so that each part reinforces the whole. The venues we suggest all have "soul". Many are private.
We can propose many of the services that individual visitors and professionals need (hotels, transport, restaurants, receptions, gifts).
We welcome private visitors and small groups, including those whose budgets are too small to interest most agencies. Our low overhead lets us customize tours so that they that fit every budget.
Our objectives are to -
•Present a new perception of France. •Communicate artists' and specialists' excellence. •Maintain an organisation that is financially sound. •Have you remember us with esteem and pleasure.
